from the NCCD 2011 President: Chad Entinger
Dear Friends,
We look forward to welcoming you to the National Christian Convention of the Deaf in Council Bluffs, Iowa,
on October 6 to 9, 2011. The theme is "different" and you will be
challenged to think "out of the box" and try new, unique, creative ideas
for sharing the Gospel with deaf people and teaching the Bible in your
Deaf church or Deaf ministry.
The upcoming convention will be held at
First Christian Church
in Council Bluffs. A local hotel is ready to receive your reservation. Or, if you prefer a "different"
experience for lodging, you may make
reservations at the campgrounds near Lake Manawa in
Council Bluffs.
During free time, you may visit a wide range of animals the expansive zoo, view the beautiful flowers at Lauritzen Gardens and/or learn history at the Nebraska School for the Deaf museum, all in the Omaha area. Furthermore, Deaf Missions, located in Council Bluffs, will be open for tours, too.
See you at the convention on October 6. Come expecting the unexpected...
