THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM NCCD 2008 PRESIDENT

On
behalf of 2008 National Christian Convention of the Deaf (NCCD),
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you in helping
make the convention a BIG success at San Jose Church of Christ
in Jacksonville, Florida on August 28-31, 2008. Love and support
from you, NCCD Board, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, speakers
and teachers, the church, the publisher, and most importantly,
our Lord Jesus Christ., have helped make NCCD 2008 a memorable
convention!
NCCD
2008 Director, Jose Abenchuchan, and the volunteers are to be
commended for their superb job in making sure that all activities
of NCCD 2008 went smoothly. We are also very grateful to San Jose
Church of Christ (SJCC) for providing us meeting rooms for worship,
workshops, lunch, and banquet. Also thanks to SJCC for providing
audio-visual technical support.
We
also thank 105 participants who braved the “high gas price”
in traveling to Florida for the NCCD 2008 Convention. It was a
great time of fellowship where we excited our tired souls. Thus,
NCCD 2008 theme has been perfect for our troubled times: “My
Soul is Thirsty for God.” Praise the Lord!
I
look forward to the next NCCD Convention in 2009 in Maryland.
